Miltonia candida, Lindl. 1838, is accepted species by POWO, Kew. The native range of this species is SE. Brazil. It is a pseudobulbous epiphyte and grows primarily in the seasonally dry tropical biome.

Description:
The candidate plant has 55 flowers on 9 upright inflorescences to 31-cm arrising from four new growth. The plant is 53-cm wide by 40-cm tall and grown mounted on terracotta pot. Leaves are 29-cm long by 3-cm wide. Psuedobulbs, ovoid, laterally compressed 13-cm long by 2.5-cm wide.
