Paphiopedilum Wössner Black Wings (Paph. rothschildianum x Paph. anitum (syn. Paph. adductum)) was originated and registered by F. Glanz in 2009.

Paphiopedilum Wössner Black Wings is a synonym of the Paph. Johanna Burkhart. POWO Kew did not recognize Paph. anitum as a separete species and treat it as syn. of Paph. adductum. However, some experts still consider them as two separate species or at least as Paph. adductum var. Paph. anitum.

Actual parents are Paph. rothschildianum 'Handsome' HCC/AOS x Paph. anitum 'Ninjia' HCC/AOS.
