Cattleya lawrenceana Rchb.f. (1885) is accepted species by POWO, Key. The native range of this species is S. Venezuela to Guyana and N. Brazil.

Cattleya Good Friend (C. John Mossman x C. mossiae) has been originated by Mossman and registered by Suwada Orchids in 2004.

Two major Cattleya species in the background are C. lawrenceana - 50.0% and C. mossiae - 37.50%

Description:

Our candidate has four flowers on one 38-cm staked inflorescence. Plant is 38-cm wide x 62-cm tall and grown in 20-cm plastic pot inside of 25-cm terracotta pot (for stability).
