Paphiopedilum liemianum (Fowlie) K. Karas. & K.Saito (1982) is accepted species by POWO, Kew. 

The native range of this species is N. Sumatera (Danau Susuk) . It is a perennial and grows primarily in wet tropical biome.

Our candidate has one flower and one bud on one staked 19-cm inflorescence.
