The native range of this species is N. Brazil to N. Peru. It is a pseudobulbous epiphyte and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.

Description:
Candidate plant has 42 flowers on two up to 40-cm pendant inflorescences. Plant is 55-cm tall by 41-cm wide and growing in 12-cm plastic pot.
