Coelogyne magna (Rchb.f.) M.W. Chase & Schuit. (2021) is accepted species by POWO, Kew. The native range of this species is Philippines. It is a pseudobulbous epiphyte and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.
This species previously known as Dendrochilum magnum Rchb.f. (1861).

Description:
Our candidate has 44 inflorescences up to 32-cm (42 infl. in bloom and 2 infl. in buds) with approximately 2900 flowers and 170 buds total. Plant is 116-cm wide and 83-cm tall and grown in 20-cm plastic pot in the bark mix.
