Ten strikingly colored flowers and six buds well displayed on three arched inflorescences emerging from the base of three pseudobulbs of a very robust 11-growth plant; sepals chartreuse, densely speckled oxblood red on obverse, heavily overlaid deep oxblood red on inverse, dorsal sepal broad, acuminate at apex, slightly hooded, lateral sepals falcate, rolled inward to overlap along outer margins; petals deltoid, apices pointed, deep oxblood red, thick undulate cherry-red margins speckled chartreuse; lip hinged, chartreuse, heavily overlaid cherry-red reticulation; column broad, oxblood red speckled chartreuse, anther cap oxblood red; substance heavy; texture slightly glossy; exhibitor noted that the plant had been treated with colchicine.
