Cattleya Zip has been originated and registered by Ron McLellan Co. in 1965.

Cattleya tenebrosa (previously known as Laelia tenebrosa), (Rolfe) A. A. Chadwick 2006 is accepted species by POWO (Kew). Found in Brazil (SE. Bahia to Espirito Santo).

Cattleya milleri (previously known as Laelia milleri), (Blumensch. ex Pabst) Van der Berg 2008 is accepted species by POWO (Kew). Found in Brazil (Minas Gerais).

Description:

There are 4 flowers on one upright staked 32-cm inflorescence. Plant is 36-cm wide by 40-cm high. Plant growing in bark mix in 15-cm terracotta pot.
