Cymbidium floribundum, Lindl. 1833 is accepted species by POWO (Kew). The native range of this species is South China to N. Indo-China, Taiwan. It is a pseudobulbous epiphyte and grows primarily in the wet subtropical biome.
Kew accepted only Cymbidium floribundum, different varieties or form are synonym of Cymbidium floribundum.

There are 18 flowers and 2 buds on first 22-cm inflorescence and 8 flowers and 4 buds on second inflorescence. Plant is 77-cm wide by 29-cm high. Plant growing in 16-cm plastic cymbidium pot in bark mix.
